EOI FS: Water To Air Cooler

Just curious if anyone is intrested in a water to air cooler. comes with the following-

* intercooler
* water radiatior
* water resivour
* water pump. needed to pump the water round the system

this is a well setup system and has been on my car for the last few years with no problems ever. this setup cools better then a front mount cooler. not many people run this kind of setup cos of peoples knowledge on these systems this setup has been well setup and works very very well. im selling due to i have just upgraded my turbo and dont have the room in my engine bay for this kind of setup no more and need to go to a front mount. this system is good for a sleeper setup if thats what you want as this is on my evo coupe and most people would never know my car is turbo'd until they get OWNED!!!! hehehe

Nice setup. have you had an issues with police with it? Im sure in melb that a cop would defect the car for it as it is to shiney..


What sort of temp drops are you getting with this setup?

no its not a cop pointing at it when i took pics my mate just had to get his hand in my pic.
no issues with cops cos my car looks like a sleeper so i dont get harrased from the start aswell as i dont go looking for cops either.
temp drops are very noticable not 100% sure wot they are thou.

Any rough ideas on temp drop, any pressure drop with cooler?

not sure with the temp but no pressure drop with this setup cos its so close together. lag well im running a GT30R and that dont make full boost till 4k so thats enough lag. i had a 20g on it before and there was almost no lag made good strong power very quickly.

Ah.. theres no way the factory air box will fit with that thing, so it'd pretty much be a no go.. I'll call anyway. What sort of heat soak are you subject to in traffic?

yeh stock airbox wont fit. here is some temps for you. on a 28 deg day inlet temp was 45 deg. there is thermo fan on the cooler radatior to keep it cool all the time.

what size is the piping on either end of it?

um i think the piping is 2.5' at either end. its the same size as the throttle body. ill take more pix tomorrow and post them up.

That's great - I've often thought about doing the same thing in order to run a stock GSR front bar, it's just too much expense for stuff all gains.

What sort of power did you put through it?

im making just under 300hp atw on a GT30R and its still got more. no boost loss either.
