EOI: Swap Crower 272/272 for 264/272

Let me know via PM they are Crower 272/272 with less than 5k on them, am intrested in swapping for smaller duration billet cam's, to more suit my driving style.

Looking for a smoother idle and little more torque down low.

if you dial the cams down it will improve the midrange torque

probably wont do much for the idle though

You'd still have a noticable lobe at idle with the 264/272 camshaft combination as well. What kind of turbo will you be running and what sort of rpm range are you looking at getting the most usable power out of the engine?

Currently will be running a big 16g on a forged bottom end with 9:1 comp, possibly some thing a little bigger later but not too much as this car is my daily driver, don't mind the lope but hate the 1000rpm idle.

Those 260 comp cams might be the go then, if you can't deal with the lack of response down low and when taking off.......

Hi mate, I have a brand new 264 intake, it has never been fitted to the car. I'm thinking of upgrading to 272/272 instead of 264/272. They are still in the original box, i was going to go back to my supplier and swap it for a 272.

mine are crower billet cams from meek. I'm not real interested in just a plain swap of 2 brand new in box cams for ones with 5,000 k's on them. So if you could sweeten the deal i might think about it....

FYI Crowers come as sets and you can't just get a single 272 and they are also different grind, lift ect between the 272/262 and the 272/272 combos. Also correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't think Meek sold Crower cams
