Hey peeps. Just bought a hks evc 1 from a member but we can't find the loom. Plan is to make my own.
on the stepper motor is a 9 wire plug
On the computer is a 9 wire and a 6 wire plug ( Which I assume one plug is for high and one is for low setting) 6 wire plug colors match the 9wire plug. The left over wires 3 wires match wires on the stepper motor fine.
The problem is, on the stepper motor there is a red wire (not in a plug) that will go to power obviously. But on the plug where the loom would go to computer is no red wire. Yet there is red for the computer. The only wire on the stepper motor that doesn't match anything at the computer is pink.
Is pink therefore the power to the computer through the loom, if so is there something in the loom that's important to make it work. The color difference is setting off warning bells
