I think you're trying to push the proverbial crap up the proverbial hill with the proverbial pointy stick mate. IMO you're best off getting a rough as guts GSR cheap and spending your $$$ fixing that up and putting your EVO gear in that.

You'll even be able to sell the bits n pieces off the GSR and recoup a bit of $$$.
