Hey guys, not sure if this belongs here and if not please move it to the appropriate section. I am just curious as to what some parts the community would be interested in. Myself as well as some of my friends are pretty good at fabricating and I'm sure we could come up with some pretty awesome parts and get give a little back to the community!

I am thinking things like Intake tubes, down pipes, o2 housings, proper pitting catch can set ups, But if you have any ideas please let me know the more I have to work with the better. If things go well and I can make some quality stuff like I hope we can for you guys I will see about getting set up as a vendor on the site as well.

please note this is not to sell parts currently but to get Ideas as to what the community would like to see that's all for now!

Hi mate
As posted in the other thread, I think there would be demand for an Evo 1-3 specific alloy airbox. Perhaps using a common K&N size filter (ie pick something effective, common and cheap).

Lots of people like the ARC ones, but they're impossible to find. I know that John (liberoz) from this forum made some up years ago, but he now plays with 7s.

As you're located in Canada, it might make shipping a bit hard for those of us in Australia/NZ, so perhaps a kit that could be welded up locally by a home welder might work. That way you could flat pack it?

Sounds like a great proposal mate, but the killer for us here will the AUD to USD conversion plus shipping. You'd need to be very-very-very cost competitive for a lot of the guys here to consider purchasing something.

Those of us who have a lot of custom stuff in our cars usually have resources already available locally to fabricate what we need.

To be honest I dont plan to get rich off this, I enjoy building stuff and it helps get names out there. I do like the idea of building a DIY intake box that actually sounds really cool. Not only does the owner get experience the gains of the part, but also get to create them him/her self. I will agree that shipping most likely is going to become an issue for some but I can look into ways to resolve that later down the road, like maybe have a member act as a supplier and keep limited inventory?

Love the idea mate, there is a fair few RVR owners that would be keen as well. Similar set ups as the 1-3, if it was a kit you could add or modify to suit.....

Sounds like an excellent idea as stated if shipping wasnt the killer. unless maybe a group buy of certain items was made to bring the price down abit. any pics of some of your work?

I don't have pics atm no because I only did this for fun before so never had any reason to document stuff. But if there is interest then when I get my shop space set up I can see what we can do .
