Stock ones no good?

Ive seen solid mounts put in a car before, it basically destroyed it, drove horribly, increased NVH by about tenfold and actually ended up tearing welds from the chassis where the brackets mounted, was the worst mod ive seen done to a car. Your talking only of the roll stoppers correct? the front and the rear mount only.

The diff mounts, they might be a different story, though on a basically stock car, i couldnt see large benefits from upgrading the diff mounts? are they horribly weak from the factory?

they are actually ralliart competition mounts, not solid alloy etc... so they do still have a little give, NVH is increased a bit but its well worth it if you drive a little hard

evo 7 would be my last pick. evo4's would be 3/4th right under 6.5, 8mr, 5
4's are a nice shape because it looks like a normal lancer with a kit. Surprise factor 100 to unsuspecting commie drivers!

Was developed in 1992 but didnt go into the Evo until the EvoIV.
