hey people just wanted to know if the evo 6 motor could fix into a gsr does anyone know if so wat kinds of mods whould i have to do?

i was looking under a 6 the other day and i would not be suprised if the whole front crossmember would bolt into a gsr/evo 1-3 fairly easily.

the only problem then is matching it to the rear with the right ratios etc...

the evo 1-3 setup is better balanced anyway because of the gearbox
being on the same side as the driver

yea i might go for the evo 3 engine but i just wanted to find out if whould fit or not lol wat about using a evo ecu in a 4g93t gsr whould that work??

I don't wanna be to harsh but have a good read of the forum, what you are asking has been asked and answerd to death. There is heaps of opinions, tips, pictures, etc on the 20 or so pages of just this section of the forum

As far as I knew, Mitsubishi turned the engine around when the Evolution 4 was introduced to provide a better balanced chassis and reduce understeer...?

have a look at some serious evo4 onwards race cars and they will have been converted to lh drive

ralliart used to do it too

cheers for your help people

evo 123 ecu and 609 evo afm will simply plug in on a gsr....but you have to change the injectors too. its a good upgrade when combined with a bigger turbo.

it will plug in and work.........BUT..you must have the right afm{evo 609} and injectors{510cc}.
the computer wont know what to do with the information its receiving if you have the wrong afm
