one looks brighter then the other?

that was just a test pic on the fitting, I didn't aim them yet. it gave the illusion one is brighter or aimed down than the other. they were aimed really down initially but I fixed that puppy up :D

very good mate! im half tempted to attempt this myself! although id probably do it a bit differently, theres plenty of room in that headlight i woulda gone for something like this -

seperate lights for hi/lo and even foglights, would look killer maybe with a yellow lens on the foggie, and keep it all silver/chrome for that oem look...i wonder if this is do-able....hmmmm

Honestly I think the inner housing is too small for a setup like that unless you could find some extremely small projectors but lose out on output or take out the inner housing and just use the back housing. Or a hell of alot of cutting/modifying the back housing so you can access the bulbs

+1 to yellow color, as it spectacular for penetrating bad weather conditions. going to retro fit my fog lights with some bosch mini projector h3's and run 3000k hid kit in them

Looks fucking awesome mate - GREAT job! Team those up with some amber indicators on your dark EVO and that'd finish it nicely.

Fact you've done it all yourself is a big two thumbs up from me :D

thanks mate, I appreciate the kind comments 8) ... actually I do have some amber corners to put on and totally agree that with the amber ones will clean it up nicely, I'll take some more images once its all cleaned up haha its soo dam dirty... I'm also one to believe no body can do anything better than when you do things yourself. That way its done right. In my first post I mentioned I bought some pathetic Projector headlamps, only to return them, then eventually make my own hehe. 8) :D

You can get an assembly with 2 projectors for the newer style Mirage Sedan.

I understand that they will fit but they angle down more sharply than the early evo lights so there will be a gap between it and the hood/bonnet which will need to be covered up with eyebrows or something.

yup I heard those headlights can work with some mods. The major downside to those headlights is the fact its design is using a open reflective type housing to light the road (like stock headlights). The only difference between those and stock headlamps is the front lens is clear and not flutted. Do not put HID's in those puppy's because it will glare and reduce output. Unfortunately they will not be able to compete with HID projectors  If you were to use HID projectors in there I would recommend going with valeos because of the size small sizemaking it easier to mount in that housing. The housing of that headlamp can only accept small projectors  funny thing is i have a bunch of evo4+ guys asking me to do theres too  Like mentioned I would use valeos because of their size, although they aren't they greatest hid projector but better than nothin.

I'm not really into lights or cosmetics in general but obviously with those you would want to cut out the entire reflector housing and just fit the projectors.
