EVO4 seats dont line up

Hey guys, I bought some EVO4 front seats and they dont line up to the floor (CC GSR). Whats the deal do I need EVO1-3 rails?

I turned it over thinking maybe the rail just needs to be moved but mounting points dont suggest this can be done. Something aint right.

Here you can see the left side is lined up and the other side is not even close.

Am I doing something stupid?

are you sure they are evo 4 rails? I have EVO 6 rails in my GSR and they fit up fine ... weird

Here's the seats, I've since had the bolster repaired.

I assumed this was a straight forward bolt in

This might sound silly but are you sure the rail hasnt been adjusted while the seats were out of the car? This can cause them to be seriously out of whack...

You don't just need to adjust the sliding position of the seat on each side do you? The rails will slide out further when you pull the lever out on the side of the seat.

I'm with Dan, E6 seats in my GSR, the fit straight up.

I understand, one of the rails has probably shifted down so they are both out. Both seats were the same deal though and only one went away for repair.

I'll check it out, I'm hoping its something simple.

Did you get the rear seats too? SR's are sooo comfy! they make such a big difference!!

Yep the whole lot, I figured the car is red and they look a little more modern. I'm not a fan of massive recaro logos across them like the old ones have.

The rear seat doesnt have any backing on it, so the foam can be seen from inside the boot, Looks pretty pox, will have to get a backing board or something.

Go down to IMLACHS, they should have one from a CC lancer?

I've just got a piece of sheet metal to cover the back of mine up .. you could cover it in carpet or something if you were that way inclined. I only went down the metal firewall route because of the fuel system in the boot though.

I was shocked how heavy the Recaros are!, make the stockies feel like baby seats.

Also weird is that the winder is on the left hand side on both seats so for the drivers it will be on the inside near the center console.

What do the levers either side up the top do? Sounds like it strying to adjust lower lumber but I cant feel anything happening.

well the rails are left and right, who knows maybe I do?? Maybe the seats are generic and just the rails are different

Sounds like you have 2 left seats

The lever up the top are for coup's. If you lift it, the whole top of the seat will fold forward so you can get into a back seat

Is it maybe just missing a side? On my E6 recaros, I have adjusters on both sides of the seats (the rod runs all the way through). If yours aren't supposed to have the two, it might be easy enough to pop it off and swap it around to the other side?
