I've got the option of running these Axis OG Banzai 17x7.5 +10's on my car; my mate used to run these on his DR30 Skyline coupe.
What do you guys reckon, too wide or too tough? :p

Lower it a tiny bit more Brett and they should tuck in. Or if you have any more camber adjustment left dial that in. Granted you'll start chewing through tyres, but I'm guessing you got the wheels cheap from your friend so you take some you lose some haha.

I was driving this beasty , I so want to buy it $49k though , but the best SST I've driven yet , it just glides

Im thinking about chopping out a coil on the fronts as it still sits a bit high yeah (partially due to having no reo in my bumper  ), but he is trying to get me into some coilovers so that would help more!

And he still owns the wheels, i just tried them on to see how close to fitting they would o as I like the old-skool look of them :D And since there is a Nissan already posted; he upgraded to these:

LoL yes it is a bit rollerskate

Love that X Trav - it's hot! id own it in a flash

Other option is to pump the guards a bit. Rears look like they are pretty close already but the fronts look like they'd need some work.

Those wheels stick out the same amount as my 18x9+30's did before I adjusted the ride height Click here

Just lower it a couple of inches (at least) add a bit of negative camber at the front and it'll look sweet.

There's pics of my car in this thread already, black vr4 on xd9's.

Yeah cool mate - It was your car/rims that inspired this experiment!
