Lastnight I had a vr4 car wash meet with a few vr4, galant/legnum. Anyway I was bout to head home. Started the car drove off to driveway fine. Once i got on the service road where it merges with the main lanes I floored it 1st to 2nd.
then it just sputters and hesitates majorly! I pulled over thinking maybe leads since I got new ones that day and got disconnect seems all ok. The car drove fine to the meet. luckily my house wasnt too far away so I steadily drive at 40k to my house :roll: i couldnt go any faster or it'll backfire 10.30pm on a weeknight
that night i tried to get to the bottom of it thought it was a exhaust leak since I've been having issues with it since I got the new system on.
- The nuts at the dumpipe keep getting loose so they swapped a brass nut to steel and tac it. few weeks later didn't work so they added a flexpipe, seems to do the job.
Im pretty sure I have a leak somewhere that area cause I can smell it either crack manifold or same problem. I tighten the nuts but nothing.
Today I was gonna drive it to the shop but driving so slow for 12km, I'll pass. This morning I tried fixing it, feeling for leak while its cold but couldn't really feel any air. Turn it on again and fine. It always started fine just ran ****. I took it for a spin, boost as it does.. wheels spinning.. same torque.. power..
Now it has really got me thinking what it is.
since it's working I'm dropping it off at exhaust shop to have a look at it. ASAP! I don't wanna be missing the cruise of the year!
