Hey guys thought i'd ask around before i bought something i'd regret.

what is a good exhaust manifold for a GSR? I've had a look at the X-force ones but heard good and bad things so keen to see what exhaust manifold are being used by you guys on your gsrs.
or even if you know of any good ones.

cheers.

X-Force are known to issue's with cracking and poor workmanship, there's nothing wrong with a gsr oem cast manifold if a some porting is done which most 4g93t owners choose over a cheap inferior after market tubular X-Force manifold.

wat about if a external wastegate was to be used? just tee it off the stock one (if u were to keep it) using appropriate welds/pipping etc, or find one with the space for a external wastegate

X-force are good if you brace them up properly... they usually crack at the welds mainly due to heat and the weight of the turbo pullin it down... i would suggest that a few braces are welded on to make it stronger to support the weight

On the topic of manifolds, is it worth porting out the stock evo manifold or going with something like that $180 cast manifold that's already ported.

I reckon you can ask yourself the same question and end up with the logical answer......

Liberoz, is it really necessary to be such a smartass all the time? A simple No, buy a new one, or yes, get it ported would have been a simple enough answer. I was just looking for a confirmation. Jeesh.
