So from factory, the smaller exhaust would go inbetween the shaft and the chassis of the car.
The system on my car, which is welded from turbo flange to tip, goes under the rear shaft, so it is the lowest point of the car underbody.

Can you fit in a 3" inbetween the shaft and chassis?
Planning to redo the exhaust, and would rather gain that tiny bit of clearance back over having a rock go into it.

I think you can but all the ones I've seen go under the rear shaft.

I now when I lowered mine the exhaust used to hit it :fuuuuu: but as you seem to want to use your rvr as a 4wd  I think it will be fine

TBORVR is right, Yes you can follow the stock route, I have done, but you will be limited in size. The largest I could fit following the stock path is 2.75" which was fine for me but if you want 3" then you may struggle.

I'll get you a pic of 3" system over the shaft mate.
Cheers

I'm not pushing out anymore than stock, maybe 5-10kws more, so perhaps a drop down to 2.75" wouldn't be a real issue...

However, I'll wait for your pic Mio and weigh the options.

My Libero has same set up basically and its a tight ass squeez with the Fujitsubo LegalisR 3" to make its way through the oem gap, if going custom it will need a experienced guy to make so you never have any troubles with exhaust knocking down the line.

With 2" lowered car.
