I had a long hard think about my priorities on the way home from Heathcote yesterday and have come to the conclusion that its for the best that I part with the car that I have only owned for 2 weeks.

I bought the car with the intention to out the engine into my non turbo RVR, but have since decided to not go through with it, and to focus on my main project at hand (didnt I say that last time  )

The car is a '94 RVR, 4G63T turbo auto. Totally stock standard, 130,000kms. Cambelt looks fresh. The body has seen better days, as it went through a couple of fences. It also has signs of early stages of roof rust. Mechanically the car is fine- I just replaced the oil, oil filter and sparkplugs. Blows no smoke. Auto shifts nicely. Ideally it would suit someone who either has an RVR, or someone who can spend the time fixing it up- a penelbeater etc- these cars are still fetching $6000+ in good nick!

It needs 2 new wing mirrors, new drivers side front guard, front bumper, bonnet and sliding door repair, new passenger rear wheel arch flare and a dent taken out of the passenger rear 1/4 panel.

The interior is in fairly good condition. I will get more/better pics up today.

I'm only after what it owes me, so i'll let it go for $2200 firm. 4G63T's are still going for this much alone. Would make a good upgrade for a GSR, and you could still sell the rest for $$$$.

Here's some more pics if anyone is interested- this is a bargain guys! Engines go for $1500-$2000 just by themselves!

There's an oil leak from the turbo feed, but apart from that she's A.O.K mechanically- makes good power and doesn't blow any smoke! Would be a good upgrade for a GSR owner- comes complete with loom and ECU (that can be chipped to EVO spec) aswell as a whole complete car, including tow bar, and a MINT set of bullbars, and 5-stud hubs.

Either way, with some TLC you could turn it into a decent car for cheap, or wreck it and get yourself a REALLY cheap EVO engine. The drivers side headlight and parker dont work, but apart from that its a pretty sweet car for $2200.

Now I know where all that hair came from Dre!
Hey quick question dude, I noticed you said this thing has 5 stud hubs, which it has of course, so could you swap the hubs out of one of these to a Galant? Or even if you can't use the whole knuckle thing, (cos it may well be different, being a complete different style car!) could you just use the 5 stud plate and press it into a Galant knuckle? Reason I ask is, because I had my hubs off just now to have new wheel bearings put in, and just wondering if thats all there is to it? Perhaps the diameter is different? I dunno, but I thought you might! :D
It'd be sweet if that's possible.......5 stud Enkei's aren't as hard to find!! :D

Don't even need to use the whole hub assembly, can just use the outer wheel bearing/assembly/hub face.
If the RVR ones are the same as the Evo IV item then you can easily swap, if you bother with the whole conversion (whole hub) you will have to change the steering ball. And to my knowledge the Evo III lower arms are just as wide (if not wider) in track than the Evo IV item.
If you wanted to do the Brembo conversion you would need to swap the whole hub assembly, allowing you to run the 330mm front rotors.

The rear change is quite techincal, and not a straight foward swap by any means.
