Yep the past few didn't even give me a 'half-mast'. The first was without a shadow of doubt, the most entertaining...

Good to see (from what i've seen) that they have gone back to their roots. I too will be camping out for this movie.

I agree with you guys.

I have the trilogy on DVD and:
1. The first FF was fukn brilliant! Watched it plenty of times and still my favourite!
1b. The Prologue after the first one showing Paul Walker in a GTO Mitsu was fukn sweet! Pity they didnt include the GTO in the 2nd movie!
2. The 2nd 2F2F was pretty damn good too but not as good as the first. I've watched it almost as much as the first FF .
3. FF3 Tokyo Drift... Pffft more like Tokyo Daft!.... watched it once and thought it as fukd. I may have watched it a second time to confirm my initial opinion .
4. I've already watched the trailer for 4 more times than I've watched the FF3 movie!! lol

Why so much praise for the 1st? I found it hard to get past the motec exhaust and other random mess ups. I also noticed; When they got "vince" off the semi-trailer, and they showed the civic drive off to the side of the highway; the truck goes past - and he's still attached! (just covered with smoke effects)

I just find it to be a bit over the top to be at all realistic. But still good to watch. It's like auto salon

Just like most things, the original is always the best. Let's face it, if the original was shit, there wouldn't be sequels. IMHO, the 1st was the best pick out of a bad bunch if you're a movie critic but being the car enthusiast that I and most of us are, you can turn a blind eye to 'random mess ups'. Yes, it's over the top but it has to be. Have you seen Die Hard 4? That wins the award for me...

I must say that in Fast & Furious 1, the part when the Supra was on the Highway with the Ferrari and Vin Diesel says....''smoke him'' has to be my favourite moment...

Let's face it - they've all been corny!! No. 1 was definitely the best though, and at least they've had Mitsis in all 3....

I tend not to want to drive my car while the films are showing as every knob is out trying to be Brian Spillner in their fully sick rides for months afterwards and the cops love it!

The beginning of the 2nd movie; paul walker has a GTO. After the credits of the 1st, there's a camaro or some old school car.
