Few evo pics from today (56k get a cup of coffee)

Thought i would share a sample of some photo's i took today out at the Top Gear sprints at qld raceway. I wish i had gotten there earlier to see the free practice where alot more were running. There was only one silver evo9 running in the sprints. These are just the mitsu's i saw, i'll have other pics of other cars up later in my flikr account.

Tell me about it, there was just something about that car that i had to stop and have a look anytime i went near it. Each time i would notice something new, like the nurburgring stickers.

Favourite picture of the day is the lockup by the 300zx

And two favourite cars were the R31 Skyline ute, with the rb20det. And the aussie race car who was giving it to the big v8's.

I was wondering that also. I never got around to talking to the bloke before he left. Blue generally is a cusco brand thing isn't it? My guess is some sort of stabiliser/strengthener.

yeah i have seen that orange carbon IX in person and to be honest it looks better in photos (if that makes sense). Very nice car though.... If it was my choice i wouldnt got past the red TME.

mate i agree, i have seen th orange 8 too and wondered what the fuss was about.

i dont think it gets off the trailer too often either

I've seen it off the trailer and it's a bloody impressive car on the circuit .. I'm hoping it's coming down for superlap next week so I can see it again.

Was there a white r32 gtr out there by any chance?

just stumbled across this forum and surprised to see pics of my car, very nice shots Joe, some great panning work, very sharp! Cheers for the pics and comments on my car as well, nice to see people like it! There was a bunch of us down there on Saturday as Mark (WRC), Brendan (silver/blue evo) and Cam (orange) did their final shakedown for superlap in Sydney this coming weekend, we are all doing a roadtrip down there as part of that, so for the Sydney boys come down and check it out

I have a few shots of the day as well, I can post them up as well if you guys want, just don't want to hijack the thread
