fiberglass/carbon cc coupe bonnet

Rob, my brother Mikey should have sent you some links on Facebook to Carbon Paradise in Malaysia.
But if you look at these pics, this is the bonnet you're after to fit OEM coupes.
They class it as a Mitsubishi Cyborg and Mitsubishi Asti "MIVEC" bonnet. If you say "MIVEC" they will know what you're talking about.
When a 4G63 is put into a coupe the oem metal coupe bonnet needs to simply have a small brace cut out from underneath to clear the 4G63 plastic timing belt cover.
You might not have an issue with that with a carbon bonnet, or you might not even run a timing belt cover.
PS: Good to see you ditched the EVO sedan front end and gone back to the original coupe shape.

Years ago in the early 2000's onwards all you used to be able to get was evo styled bodykit parts for the CC coupes and Protons or very ugly chunky parts that didnt quite suit the round shape of cars well. When my car was light blue I had an EVO 4 front bar, EVO 5/6 bonnet vent moulded into it and even an EVO 3 rear wing. It looked pretty outdated and tacky by 2005 as every man and his dog in a CE Mirage, CE Lancer and Proton Satria was using some kind of EVO influenced styling as well. To reinvent the CC coupe or a Proton I think you have to stay away from EVO styling as its already been done to death a gazillion times. Thats just my opinion though. I shuddered when I found out my brother was changing his front end of his coupe to EVO recently lol. Sorry Mik  . But I must admit an EVO front on a CC coupe still looks good.

i'm the same evo styling is outdated for a lancer coupe everyone sees it and goes oh yeah ricer (sedoupe is a mild exception because theres alot more to a sedoupe than just bolting on). this is why i'm staying away from evo as much as possible i still have evo skirts and pods merly because they follow my front bar well there is no sign of the words evo anywhere near my coupe
