Hey all I'm new to this site,

I'm after some help, I'm having some problems with my car its a 94 GSR Lancer 1.8

Last week I took my leads off from the rocker cover and coil packs to replace and fix some things. Now the problem I'm having is when I went to put leads back in some how it is running on 3 cylinders. I have done firing order correct, well I think so. I have had no luck with this and it's driving me insane. I've replaced leads with new ones, ignitor pack, coil pack, new spark plugs and it's still running the same :(

If there is anyone that could help me fix the problem, I'm willing to pay them. I'm located on the North Side of Brisbane near Caboolture area.

Thanks

Off topic but have you got a pic of where your hot side piping goes after it through the front panel? Like how it joins to the turbo.

Cheers

Firstly. Running on 3 means its coil, lead or plug.

Which cylinder is it? Remove plug end of leads and place lightly back on plugs. Start car. With GOOD INSULATED pliers, lift each lead until the engine changes sound and replace lead. One lead will make no difference, that is the dead cylinder.
Say its dead on no2. Cross the leads so 2 is on 3 and 3 is on 2. Just the plug end leave the coil end. Retest.
If miss is on no2 still, swap the plugs around or replace plug 2
If miss is now on 3 its leads or coil. Swap coil end of leads. Retest.
If on 3 now its the lead. If now on 2. Either replace coil or swap the coils around in the holder and retest.
If miss follows to new location. Its the coil.

If fixed, or you need more help, we need paid members. And I think stickers are still available. ..

Cheers and welcome
