This is a constant query on this forum (the 122 views on your first post indicates there is more than a little interest)
There doesn't seem to be any manufacturers info for the HSGR
If there is it should be a sticky like the translated fuse box

There is a lot of opinion and there are quite a few other threads on this topic. (Do a forum search)

I believe the recommended change for a SSG is 5,000 for engine oil under harsh conditions (ie always driving around town)
I have been using a Penrite 10-50 or 20-50 semi synthetic (I don't thrash it much)
When I had the belts etc changed (recommended 80,000) at 100,000 because I didn't know what the previous owner had done,
my local garage used a 10-30. Well it smoked some!. It has been OK since I changed to a 50 grade
Looking at oil companies recommendations for various EVO's they all seem to run on a 50 grade

For the auto trans I used the SP4 (or was it SP3) from the Mitsubishi dealer. I would not be brave enough to try anything else
in a Mitsy auto. Definitely stay away from Dexron I have heard it is death to Mitsubishi autos,

Why would it be different to any other car. Rad and brakes every year, trans, steer, diff and transfer every 2 years. Oil at 5-7ooo km. Timing belt and isc at 100000km, oil hinges when they squeak, new muffler when it stuffed. New belts when they cracked. New plugs when they miss, new brake pads when they squeal. Etc etc.

Just use service intervals from a Gsr.
I like the pentrite oil too. But it doesn't have friction modifiers in it. Not sure if that's good or bad, but it means I can run it in the bike as well with the wet clutch.

Oops, Timing belt at 80000?
