i can now confirm that the stock AFM on the GSRLants are able to be used as a blow through maf........

can feel a lil more grunt when you plant it but not big gain....... as for bov, it just makes a wistle noise so might just get rid of it and hide every thing.......

maccavr4: as for carbie, not saying it wont work but the carbie wont adjust it self to the extra air so the engine might just die.......... but i will re design a few styles of these blowers to get the max power, you can buy these on ebay but there like $400......

have a look at those garden blowers, they tested it and pulled 40wkw more on the dyno on a n/a car

yup yup, garden blowers concept works well but didnt have the heart to buy one a break it lol..... but will try that design out next..... just tested it out easier to get rpm up, doesnt regester on the boost gauge but can feel a lil kick at WOT.....

will update with new designs...... or an actuall S/C lol

Aren't leaf blowers 240v? Running it on 12 would not provide as much power.. and surely running a power converter would drain more power from the engine...wouldn't the cost outweigh the gains?

doommachine lol you convert the motoros over LOl, or re wire wind the 240V motor depending on how its made......

or you just run a 12v-240v inverter at the correct wattage which doesn't affect your power output much at all, just works your alternator a little bit harder.

I work for a hardware supplier, so I will keep a eye out for a 10 or 20 dollar electric blower, I just bought a new gasless mig for $30 because the box was ripped

I already have a inverter that ran my ps2 in my car, so we can test it out
