Hey guys,

It is with much regret that due to defect, I am forced to sell my car as parts.

Extra Info: Engine has only clocked 3,000kms. Fitted with JE forged pistons, BC 272/272 cams with BC Heavy duty valve springs and retainers, Fidanza adjustable cam gears, flowed head, metal head gasket, Gates Racing Timing belt, 700cc Power Enterprise fuel injectors, Sard fuel pressure regulator, polished cam rocker cover and intake manifold, Zaklee clear cam cover, Meek 2 1/2" alloy throttle body elbow etc.

Does not include turbo and associated turbo parts such as manifold and heat shield.

This engine rebuild owes me close to $10,000 so take advantage of my loss.

It made 226.3 wheel kw's on only 18psi with an Evo 3/20g and the car was defected a couple of weeks later and subsequently taken off the road and kept in storage ever since.

may i ask why you kept the OEM rods?

Because AFAIK, VR-4 rods only think about bending when you're up around the 400kw (flywheel) mark unlike rods found in 4G93's and early model Evos. The engine was built to be not only responsive, but have a meaty mid-range and with the cams, it pulls even harder to the 7200 limiter. The car was planned for track work and response was more critical to me than outright power. The turbo (the limiting factor) is rated at around 400-420hp which OEM rods can easy deal with... and 400hp was more than enough for a 1000kg FWD chassis...
 
wouldnt feel generous and sell the exhaust manifold cover (the nice shiny thing) separate? :)

Nah mate - I am not looking at selling bits and peices (such as the exhaust manifold heatshield or clear cam cover) which may detract from selling the important parts, such as the engine itself. ;)

The engine is being pulled from the car this weekend.

I am also more than willing to ship the engine interstate

Extra Info:Custom made exhaust by Exhaust Technology. Includes 3 inch dump pipe, into mild steel straight pipe with stainless steel high-flow cat converter into stainless steel 3 inch piping and JUN BL muffler (quality Jap brand that normally retails at $700). Includes silencer for the muffler (not in photo). It'll bolt straight on with no modifications and is very high flowing. Sounds awesome as well!
