FOUND THANKS!!

Hi guys,

I have a '90 vr4 and need to find a factory flywheel for it. It needs to be in good enough condition to be machined for my new clutch. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Carl

Fark, I sold my spare one to a guy in this forum a few weeks ago for only $100 and already machined and balanced too.
Seems everybody wants one now lol
I'll help keep an eye out for ya and ask some of the boys.

thanks Id appreciate that! Ive found a few from wreckers but there is no way im paying their prices for one. One guy wanted $220 plus postage.....um no <_< lol

I needed one and found one over here for a six pack. I had it cracked tested as freebie through work and it was cracked. bugger

could be bothered stuffing around so went bought a fidanza alloy flywheel which cost me 325.00 brand spanker s. I could get another one if your keen. they only weigh about 4 kg packed so postage wouldnt be that bad either

That sounds a bit better. I'll give it another week or so, but if i cant get a factory one this is probably the way to go. Cheers!

yep no worries let me know how you go. the fidanza alloy ones are bloody light compared to stock and may take some "getting used to".....Ive had them before and it can take a little while to get over the stall point

hey bud, you sent me a message a couple of days ago..you might be in luck, i remember taking off a flywheel from my vr4 engine, your welcome to have it. might be sufficient enough to machine and use! get back to us on my mobile.

cheers

Fwd and awd flywheels are different in ring gear size. Make sure you have the correct one...
