front bumper mesh?

ok so i'm thinking about changing the mesh on the front bumper to something with smaller holes to try limit the amount of bugs/stones that hit my oil and intercooler, will this lessen the airflow and does anyone else have any other techniques?

maybe a wives tale but they say that if the mesh is closer to the radiator then the shrouding effect is less. so leave the big mesh as a pre screen and add finer mesh to the coolers at the coolers. i got some stainless mesh with holes about twice the size of flywire on the motorbike radiator. attached it with the clips they use to mount radiator fans. sweet

Anything other than OEM mesh or similar looks crap. I wouldn't bother personally.

yeah i agree but i just want to stop the coolers from getting damaged
