Front driveshaft removal?

In the middle of dropping the gearbox to do the clutch among other things the passenger side shaft pulled out pretty easily but the drivers isnt coming out do i need tonpry it with a bar or is there something locking it into place? Cheers in advance for any help

Mines the opposite, drivers side slides out easy.

Just give it a quick pull and make sure the car secure

Theres a small circlip on the end, as bryce said, a short sharp pull should get it, other wise 2 pry bars or screwdrivers should be able to pop it out

G'day. There is a small flat plate under the output shaft, remove it and it is easier to get a large flat blade screwdriver in between the box and the cv joint. Hit the end of the screwdriver to dislodge the axle.

I use a small crow bar and pry between the box and the flat section on the CV. it requires a quick jolt to dislodge the circlip.
