front engine mount

hey guys just wondering do u have to have that engine mount that is at the front of engine bellow the turbo... i ask because my new turbos actuator is hitting it and it wont fit?

yes..... Modify the actuator or grind a little off the engine mount..

You can actually grind a heap off of the engine mount Grant.
Did you buy the turbo that I think you have mate?

Is it a MHI turbo Big 16g etc?

Has it still got the pin in the CHRA housing the slots into the corresponding hole? (turbine)

I just changed my turbo and Mine was an upgraded Big 16g and the pin was missing. I had the same problem and the actuator wouldnt bolt up at all (well one bolt hole wouldnt) so I remembered when I put it together that the pin was pissing and I had previously marked the 2 matching points on the old turbo (CHRA/turbine) and it was as close as I could get it this time.
So in other words, loosen the bolt on the clamp that holds the turbo together( CHRA to turbine side and clock/rotate the turbo anti clockwise if I recall.....(IF the pin is indeed missing)

I think it's a little tiny bit bigger than a MHI turbo Dane. Unless of course Grant wussed out!

haha its not the PTE tonydav never got back to me and i couldnt wait (work car)

its an ATP turbo custom build "frankie"
basically T04 comp with sierra wheel and 16g back cut with bigger flapper etc..

its ok i custom fitted the actuator should bolt up now
