I've changed to Evo 4 front control arms and hubs for 5 stud setup in the GSR a while ago however haven't found a front sway bar yet. Are there any other options to Evo 2/3 sway bars? Proton GTI? Ultraracing? custom made?

Gti mount the same as e 1-3 but maybe different due to lack of a rear drive shaft ultra racing and whitline should have evo options

Nobody makes an Evo 123 front bar aftermarket, you're basically stuck with the Evo 3 bar. PM me if you want a good source for one.

Also note, you will need the Evo-3 style sway bar links on the struts since you can't attach them to the control arms anymore.

Kmac at banksia in australia produce swaybars. They sell alot of bars internationally.
Last week, i took him my evo 2 sway bar and he made a template for it and produced me a 24mm bar (end link to shock absorber)

I'm also interested in how much and whose best to contact there,

I'm still looking :( . Id be interested in just the standard oem size, nothing oversize.

I read a thread from a few years ago that someone bought there's from Mitsubishi maybe they still have stock?

If you only want the standard size then can you not just use a ball joint style linkage to attached the GSR swaybar to the LCAs?

This is what I did when I converted to Evo 4 LCA's.

Sorry for the late reply, what does this ball joint style linkage look like? or do you have a pic of how you did yours?

Cheers

The LCA should have 2 threaded holes for where the stock L shaped bracket will mount to in an Evo IV.

From here there you use a ball joint to connect to the GSR sway bar. Go along to your local BYO wrecker and look for something that is the right size.
