Hi guys, I bought this Buschur Coil on Plug setup a couple years ago second hand from the USA before GTPumps started making them up in Australia and selling at $450 set ( http://www.gtpumps.com.au/ )
I'm now at the stage of doing the ignition on my car but unfortunately the CC coupe bonnet sits lower than expected and fouls on the coils so I am unable to use them. Instead of cutting the underbonnet braces (more than I already have) I'm going to go toward an LS1 coil setup with built in ignitors mounted on the firewall and retain the spark plug leads. Not the neat setup as the COP system I wanted but its the only viable option I can do at the moment.
I paid about $320-$340AU delivered back then and obviously gonna have to sell them at a loss. They need a bit of TLC by way of a new baseplate (the US owner cut it a bit short and elongated screw holes), one coil has a slight superficial wound to it that wont effect operation (see pic below), and another has a small part of the plastic plug missing from it but still plugs in fine. They come with the stems and springs to fit up to the spark plugs, and I'll also leave the stainless steel bolts and washers that I bought still on it.
These will fit on a CC sedan no problem as you wont have bonnet clerarance issues. These will also suit someone with aftermarket ECU and ignition and have it wired up to get the full benefit out of them.
