The time has come to move on from my beloved GSR. ive owned this car for almost 3 years, and did a VR4 conversion 18 months ago and have never looked back. a list of mods:

VR4 motor, Re-built 8 months ago with new rings, valve stem seals, heavy duty valve springs so its ready for cams. all bearings/pullies on timing belt have been replaced, all belts and gaskets new.

full 3inch exhaust from turbo to tip

evo 3 exhaust manifold from meeks

evo 3 big 16g with new 070 exhaust housing from meek

walbro fuel pump

turbosmart type 2 BOV

full 2.5inch intercooler piping, 500X300 intercooler

J-spec front bar with projector foggies

twin pot breaks

VR4 gearbox- locked coupling for FWD only.

VR4 driveshafts

lowered

RS ecu

VR4 front seats

lowered

if i think of anything else i'll add it later. the car is great, runs great, serviced every 5,000 Kms, doesnt miss a beat.

Down side is the paint, its silver but very faded, bonnet is the worst being much lighter then the rest of the car, rear wing is ordinary too and there are a few patches on the side where it has warn thin.

interior is in great nick, seats are awesome

Rego till late september.

Im looking for $4,000 for this car, the setup is awesome but i understand the paint is poor so price reduced. inspections more then welcome anytime, i have pics but not sure how to post them so i can email if you would like. contactable on 0421579253 or via email [email protected]. cheers.

thanks mate, i'll track down my pics tomorrow and give it a go, if i cant i'll be sending them your way.

hopefully this works, just adding a few pics i took the other night, the pics a shit, taken with a shitty camera and my car needs a wash

thanks alot mate, had alot of comments about it looking nice, i think the camera was very generous

Engineered... no i dont have an engineers certificate, reason i dont have one is because when i went to get a change of engine certificate the guy said it wasnt necessary, since there is a galant turbo model, all my car needed was the change of engine certificate. i was low on founds at the time so it was good news to me. a mechanic that knows VR4's told me it might need one and the only upgrade i would need to get one is the twin pot breaks, which i now have. its passed rego twice as is so i dont think im going to get pulled up for not having one. cheers

found a car i would love to buy, its available till friday or the guys just going to trade it in. so if anyone wants this car and has a decent offer, im open to offers for a quick sale. cheers

well ebay didnt quite see me to the point i would have liked to get, and im buying a new car this weekend (fingers crossed) so i really need this one gone.

price is dropped to offers over $3000!!! if not i'll probably let the guy who won the auction take it.

let me know if your interested. cheers.

Guys, Is anyone after a freshly rebuilt engine? If Matt's only option is to give the car away to a stranger for a steal (unless a new offer has come through), would anyone be interested in buying the car and stripping for parts? I would be after fuel pump, big 16g, evo 3 exhaust mani, RS ecu, injectors (if bigger than std vr4), possibly IC piping and big intercooler and some bits and pieces..

Matt, I am aware that you may not wish for your car to be used as "parts donor" and if that's the case, i apologise up front however, i thought i might put the idea forward as if there is someone interested, it may mean you getting more $ in your pocket.

what do you guys think?

few things i missed in my mods list:

it has very clean and relatively new VR4 front seats as old ones were fairly warn

battery is moved to the boot, can probably tell from photo's.

cheers

yeah they're still around, you get really shit ones with dead motors for under 1000 and good shape ones still fetch over 3000. really is an awesome. thanks evopwr
