All second hand but the rods have been fully reconditioned by Argo. Pistons are Custom JE, 8.5:1 compression and 20 thou OS from memory. Pistons have been given the all clear by Andre at Speedtech.

This is the proven Speedtech package and is enough to support well over 400kW atw should you ask it of them.

Have bought a house so can't afford to build a car to make decent use of them so have to sell. I'm losing HEAPS of money on these.

Will not seperate.

$1500 - thats my bottom dollar so don't ask.

Bump. Had some more details about this setup come from Andre.

These are not off the shelf items from JE and Argo. Both are designed to use a 1mm larger wristpin for added strength. Pistons are 0.020" (20 thou or approx 0.5mm) oversized and give ~8.5:1 compression with the Mitsi late model steel shim head gasket. They use a specific deck height to allow sufficient piston to head clearance when using this thin gasket.

The pistons have some wear showing through the coating and he advises having them recoated by HPC or Procoat.

on top of the 1500 it would cost to get these how much would installion of these be?factoring in all the other parts that would be need

flyby. Contact a mechanic for an "Over the Phone" quote .. They will only give an estimate.

Rebore
Gaskets
oils
labor (This is where the $$$ comes in to play)

If they spend 20hours stripping and rebuilding your engine. expect to pay around $60 - $100 Per hour. (On 20 hours thats $1200 - $2000).

But definately contact a mechanic. Proper engine builds don't come cheap :)

**** This is just guestimates****

I was quoted around $3000 NZD (~$2500AUD) for the bottom end assembly by Andre at Speedtech Motorsport here in NZ.
