Hey guys

Wanting to ask what everyone gets for their fuel economy? Im only getting 300-320 to a tank before the light comes on, what Are they capable of?

I'm forged with the only mod being a 9 blade exhaust wheel and Evo 2 turbo

Seems about right buddy. When mine was stock I was flat out getting 400km, I'm manual hsgr though.
These days, probably a bit worse again. E6 ECU, 560cc injectors, 3inch exhaust, divorced wastegate and 3 inch intake running 16psi daily.
Pig rich fuel mapping, brick aerodynamics and a heavy weigh bridge ticket all conspire against you....

I just rebuilt and am doing a fuel economy test at the moment, have quarter of a tank to go and have just done 300, im hoping for 400, surprising haven't tuned it yet. The first half of the tank I had 4 passengers, the other thing with mine the tranny is gonsky so over revving and slipping wouldnt help fuel economy. Anyway thats my 2 cents!

I just got 340kms to a tank but most of it high way driving with the last quater city Driving

Im happy to report, I got 450km to a tank. Thanks Jafro for helping me rebuild, its the little things i guess, like deburring the ports and giving them a polish, reseating valves, opening the oil galleries with a sand and polish, ARP studs, new filters and grommets for the injectors, new thermo, seals e.t.c
Not that i'm after a fuel efficient car, but when I bought it... i was getting roughly 300km. Thats just crazy! I reckon 10ltr/100km is fair enough.

Are you logging? Check your coolant temp sensors, O2 sensor and knock sensor are working properly. Also do a boost leak test if you can

There's no ecmlink etc on mine, it's 90 % factory other then a forged fresh motor, new fuel filters and air filter etc, new o2 sensor (4 wire universal, but don't use the heating element" and I've checked it cycles fine after it warms up. They do have smallish fuel tanks in them so 330ish is about right with 14-15psi and steel 16s with 235,60,16s on it [emoji41]

I logged mine a couple of times on evoscan with the E6 ecu. Everything was fine, sensor wise. Just pig rich, 12.5 - 13.5 idle to mid 12's maintaining constant 60kmh in 4th gear to 10 or less on boost.
Boost leak tested just prior to runs as well.
Pig rich and a bit heavy really....

This summer (here in europe) I went on vacation to the UK after the engine rebuild.
During those 3500 km I managed multiple times around 9,5 km per litre. My best score ever.

With normal city driving here in the Netherlands it's back around 8 km per litre.

My RVR is a manual Hyper Sports Gear R running stock ecu etc.

rebuilt engine with auto and td0516g thrown on. getting about 400/tank with about 150 of that highway driving, rest of it in traffic to work, and im not being light on the pedal either could probably push 450/500 if i grannied it.
