well, after my car service, still could not find the 'spashing' sound. My mechanic checked the doors etc, but i think it might be me listening to the fuel in the tank spashing around. I dont think I ever use to hear/notice it, only started hearing it a few weeks ago when i did some mt.dandenong driving one night by myself 8) I can hear it say if im doing 5km/h then brake.

Anyways I've also noticed my fuel gauge is sort of playing up. I usually get 350-400kms from a tank, so its usually 90-100kms per square. When i go down a hill, i see my fuel gauge go up, when i go back to a flat road, i watch it go down. So like my fuel gauge read like 3 1/2 quarters full after like 120kms of driving, and then goes back to where it should be 2 2/3rds on a flat road. The change seems so quickly...

So my question is, could it be that my fuel gauge sensor (which im assuming is in the petrol tank) has like fallen off or something, and this is why i hear a 'spashing' sound, and why my fuel gauge is doing what it is, or is this all normal?

btw, 94 gsr.
