fuel low light comes on

I've just rewired my fuel pump from the battery with a relay and noticed after driving for a while that the fuel light comes on very dimly. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this and is there a way on how to fix it.

fuel level is half way,wondering if there is there something to do with too much voltage, when i checked on idle is about 14 volts.

Reverse your wiring change and see if it goes away first, secondly check all the earths.

Does it do it when the car is set to "On" but not running?

Problem fixed, I mistakenly wired it to the fuel level wire which is the yellow with blue stripe because when i checked all the voltage on reds, there's only two wires with current, the black with wire stripe doesn't come on until the car is starting so i rewired it to the black with white stripe then joined the other wire back together.
