Qld,Gold coast...$1.51 a litre today (mobil 8000)

I haven't filled up yet this week, but last Sunday I had to fill up 3 times (i don't have the world's greatest fuel economy :lol: ) and was paying $1.41 or so.

today regular unleaded went up to $1.49 - ultimate/8000 would be nearly 1.60 a litre :cry:

Every car i have owned has HATED shell petrol, especially the GSR.

Yeah, I'm with this guy ^^^

The Sunday run I did (that required 3 tanks :lol: ) was up the putty road with some mates to Singleton. The BP in Singleton was out of Ultimate, the Caltex there only sold Vortex 95, so I had to put V-Power in it. Long story short, the car hated it, and wanted to miss and ping under any kind of load on the trip back.

Back in Sydney with a fresh tank of Ultimate in it, and she's back to normal.

The price doesn't really worry me though .. if I was worried about fuel economy, I'd have bought an echo or something :lol:

WA people will be paying just over $1.40/L for regular unleaded...
add the extra $0.06/L or so for 95 RON
add the extra $0.10/L or so for 98 RON

but there is always the saving of $0.04 if you have a shopper docket :wink: :lol:

thats the winner..i wonder if were eventually gonna see the 2 dollar mark..parts of europe and england are way up there...

on another note...mobil 8000 seems to be the best all rounder...shell ive found to be rubbish..and BP in between

+1, I was using the United boost 98, seems to be fairly good, and about 3 or 4 cents cheaper/L than the rest
