Hello all,

New to the forum but been around Galants and various mitsubishis for a while, had a turbo 4g54 with efi in a GC Galant and my current track hack is a HJ Galant with 6A12TT. Looking for a 6a12tt ecu if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Heres a couple happy snaps and some footage of me from the other weekend at Phillip island - best lap of 2:02.7

Will evoscan flash the hj ecu?
if its a black box ecu it might....
Its a md180563 (6a12tt ecu) - dont think its flashable. Its got leaky capacitors that have been replaced but it currently will not trigger the fuel pump on. It only runs if I hardwire the pump.
I've plugged the original HJ ecu in and the car runs fine (triggers fuels pump), so problem is definitely with ecu.

So as well as not triggering fuel pump, it also won't trigger the fans. Learnt that the hard way. Don't think ac works either....does the ECU trigger the compressor?

No. But it can do something to the ac. Maybe it can turn it off?
The guys at ecmlink say the no pump thing is prolly caused by electrolyte damage from leaky caps. If you have a gold box ecu, the damage is prolly under that big ali bar/heatsink.
do your fans run if you pull the fan relay and bridge the pins? Is green/black a wire colour connected to the fan relay holder?
Is there a same colour wire at bottom of fan relay as on temp sender at bottom of radiator?
If you earth that wire, does fan run?
If no matching colour wire on relay and sender, it is prolly run by ecu, see if you can find it at ecu.

There is a couple of options for you.
There is a kit for a pump switch. It needs a cas signal to switch pump and it does the prime bit too. Its based on a 555 timer.
the fans can be run from a voltage switch that is about $4 from ebay. Run it off a temp sender and it will fire the fan. Or put a sender in radiator and wire that in.
