Hi to all on this forum, this is my first post so please be patient, I am useless on a computer.
I need to find out when my rally car was made, when imported into the UK and its history so that I can restore it back to its original colours and spec.
MODEL NUMBER....E-E39A-SNPF
CHASSSIS......E39A-0007328
TRANS..... KM225 3545
TRIM....09A......0000
I have lots of photos and so far it looks like it has had at least seven different colour schemes.
The rear axle has had the 4 wheel steer removed and its a 4 bolt B2B 3.545....non viscous, but not looked inside yet.
Fitted with MOTORDRIVE seats with a date stamp showing ......06/1990
The car was supposed to be built by BLAZE MOTORSPORT and is written with marker pen near the chassis i/d tag and says BLAZE #01.....
On top of the drivers side front strut is written S1....obviously this may be just be coincidence.
The car was definitely white from new but looks like a metalic blue donor car has been used for parts, including a rear floor pan.
I have rang co-orsport and left info with Simon who is supposed to be contacting me if they have any records.
Hope someone out there can help as well and am sure I will be posting more questions shortly.
If I can find out how to post pics I will do asap.
Regards to all CHRIS PALMER.
