Help Support 4GTuner:

Thats my Starion .
Have been told that entrie numbers are down and they close nxt Friday so some along and spectate if you are not entered as every little bit will help the local community recover from the recent disasterous flooding. If you do come drop by and have a chat

would love to enter but, my future seeing skill are a bit rusty and have no idea what is going on then.

knowing my luck something will happen with the restaurant and I won't be able to make it.

If I can I will try to spectate. might take the family (day out)

other than that car is ready and should have the new suspension in ready to rock and roll!

Troy

Looks like I'm too late to enter anyway but could someone tell me what street sprints are?

They have a full entry of 160 cars so hope to meet some of you there .I'm the old grey headed geezer in the silver Starion lol

At $180 for a what equates to 350 secs of Motorsport I decided to skip it and use the same funds for a full day practice and sprints at Lakeside.

To be competitive I would have need to purchase a set of Super Soft semis and a new set of brake pads that don't take a lap to warm up.

Hope you all manage to win your class and not get beaten in times by the minis :)

That Mini was only 2 sec slower than my EVO4 powered Mirage around Maryborough Sprints. Will see how the EVO goes this year round.

I see where you coming from, but i look at the money for the whole weekend. Plus get to catch up with ol' mates and have a few beers afterwards.

hey Hypo are you going to spectate?

never did catch up at lakeside.

My car is ready to return to lakeside, Have been bitten by the bug me thinks.
had to fix up a few things, also got my new suspension in? do suppose you have a set of corner weigh scales?

I'm with you Hypo :) I know that there is not a lot of track time for the money but for me it is a little adventure to hook up the trailer, tie the Starion down ,pack tools etc + the camping gear & food, drive to the event, set up my camp in the pits and bed in the back of the Colorado dual cab, wander around and see some of the action and chat to the other drivers.
Have just treated the semis with tyre softener so it's not long to go now.
