I tried the search, came up with nothing.

Sometimes i drive and shift from 1st to second, the gear pops back out and crunching at the same time. I'm not sure if its the clutch, leaky master/slave cylinder, or just a screwed up box.

Can anyone help shed some light?

btw, 2nd-3rd-4th synchros and bearings were replaced by tech sport about 25,000k's ago.

Is it actually driving in gear for a bit before it pops out..?

Everything ive ever heard about this, from gearbox guys relates to synchros..from what ive been told the usual cause is when the dog teeth on the hub pop out of mesh because theyre worn down, but thats usually on old hubs that have done alot of K's.

I guess it could be to do with the tolerances of your synchros that have been replaced.

Did they use all new parts?
Did they use the right parts?

This sounds like the usual countershaft bearing failure. Because the countershaft is alowed to float around (due to failed bearings) it will pull itself out of gear.

Or the other scenario is that you have been frequently crunching 2nd that hard, that the syncro engagement teeth have been worn down to little stubs and will no longer hold onto drive.
