There's a genuine e1 in a caryard here. Had approx 24k on it. Looked clean but sounded a bit... iffy? Like it had an exhaust leak or something.

CD9a-037something

It's black and exterior/interior is MINT. No marks, no rust, just an engine that doesn't sound QUITE right. It's a GSR too.

Anyone interested? I can chase up some details.

hmm sound sinteresting. I wonder what price a caryard would put on one of these.

On one hand they think its just a lancer with a turbo and not have a high price on it, on the other hand they could go to the opposite extreme.

Im sure plenty of people would be keen on some details!

The caryard that sells it is much the same as Gran Turismo in Melb. It's a performance yard full of GTR's GTO's 300ZX's etc. The owner rallies a GTIR and trackraces a genuine LM Nismo edition 32 GTR.

Update.

Pricetag is $16k + stamp duty.

It's black, the paint is mint, it's got 15 inch oz racings and is an e1. It has a cd9a vin BUT it has clear indicators (although it has recessed indicators on the guards). All the panels are perfectly aligned and the front plastic guard inners have never been out and the front two panels haven't been off either.

The engine sounds weird but it might just be me. I haven't driven it but it idles perfectly at around 900-950 rpm when warmish. I assume it'll drop a bit more.

Tyres have 50% tread or so. No idea on gearbox, I don't think it's got a front LSD, it's an e1 GSR.

I didn't honestly check to see if it has the proper e1 recaro's, and it's got some random steering wheel. A momo piece but not the correct one.

The car is STOCK STANDARD and ORIGINAL.

Might be a good buy.
