If you guys are keen I can put together a price on a group buy for fiberglass ones?

Have access to professional fiberglass facility.

A quality mould will be made from a donor part (will need to borrow a genuine splitter off someone).

If there's at least 50 interested the price may be as low as $50-80/splitter...
I have a mould of the rear pods... But not the splitter... :(

I have genuine on mine, but yeah, I have a carbon fibfre fascination ... So although no better in strength, and just for pure cosmetics, would be the reason for me to go c/f...

Was just putting it out there.. thought it would be good for people with gen bumpers to stock up on cheap splitters as they seem to be the first part that goes.

Carbon fibre is also tricky to lay down to get it cosmetically 100%, adds extra work etc. Don't think there would be too many interested parties in $200 CF lips.

FG may not be as ductile as PU however it is definitely lighter (not that it makes a difference on a splitter!) and easy to repair.
A stuffed PU piece may as well be thrown away.

Therefore saying fiberglass is 'shitty' compared to PU is subjective based on your criteria!

PS carbon is just as 'shitty' as fiberglass when it comes to ductility.

Everyone is entitled to thier opinion mate. I for one would not put shitty fibreglass on my car...but as rock-it said, carbon fibre is more cosmetically appealing.

I will contact Luke off QEO for those that are genuinely interested and would purchase this month as I would need to drop mt splitter to him Brisbane to make a mould. I'd be guessing around $150-200 for fg and $250-300 for cf. Price wouldn't include postage.
