ok guys i have 2 GGSR's 4G63 DOHC and noticed there ECU's are different there programming is the same but the HG looks more 'low tech" then the HH

HG dual board set up
HH has a single board set up

the HG looks like there would be more potential in modding the ECU as there are extra spaces for an EProm chip.....

but can any one comfirm details on the difference's on these?

Sorry can't advise, but this is something I'd love to tinker with. Are you considering getting the ECU modified? or chipped?

yer thinking of it or just getting a piggy back but by the looks the HG ones are meant to be modded for extra power, there are bays for ectra IC chips, resistors and caps, also seems like a diagnostics out put on the board.....

i went for a drive today with the HH ecu in my HG galant and it felt different.... just by installing it and not driving all you could notice the idle was on 1000rpm, but the respose got a lil better and my exhaust during engine braking was poping 4X more then it was with the old ecu...... it was really odd.....
