hey Guys,

After the recent aquisition of an e7 intercooler :D i am now ready (FINALLY) to get my turbo, manifold and cooler all put on. It will need custom pipes made, including dump pipe, and am wondering where to go to get this stuff done.

i have been recomended to Genesis racing, HyperTech, and a few other places, but want to know your opinions. Plus, i would like somewhere where all the work is done in house....... so the car stays in the one place  .

cheers

dan

I asked a relatively simple question for a genuine reason. I am not stupid, I know there is a sponsors section. Hold the smart arsed comments please.........

AFAS rallysport has been highly recommended to me already. This is the only company in the sponsors section that is accesible to me. I want options and opinions, which is why i have posted this thread in the first place.

I personally would either go to:

Afas or Tech///sport cos:

Tech///sport - Jeff use to rally in the WRC and has alot of knowledge on Mitsubishi and if he doesnt have a part he sure as hell can get it. Tech///sport do Track cars.. they either had something to do with or worked on the top 4 cars that came 1,2,3 and 4th in the Vic Dutton Rally 2005.

Afas Rallysport - Darren use to manage teams in the ARC. Won the Vic Rally Championship in 2004 and Darren is a Qualified Mitsubishi Master Technician. Their work specs second to none. They work on any car whether it be a Mitsubishi or a Subaru or a Ford etc..

In my opinion we in melbourne are lucky to have 2 workshops such as the above at our disposal.

jeff is the man...
great service.. parts on hand

darren is also awesome..
he know's his mitsu's like the back of his hand!!

either choice is good

but i see it as: darren - pre evo3 (good with the old gen) and jeff post evo 3 (good with the new gen)

Believe it or not I got my cooler pipes done at Midas Exhausts in Blackburn (Whitehorse Rd.) and they did an awesome job. Its all 2.5" mandrel bent mild steel (he offered to do stainless but would be expensive).
The pipe bender there is highly skilled, he had never done intercooler pipes before, let alone on a Cordia (and these have badly cramped engine bays). All I had to do was mount the cooler in place and buy so silicon joins and hose clamps for Purple Pig and give them to him.
He did the whole job for about $550 I think, took two days.
