So ive got a kalapana black 07 5 speed eclipse gs(lightly modded) and my wife has a sunset pearl auto 08 eclipse gt(magnaflow catback). Im a member of club4g.org and ive been hearing of members browsing the evo forums for 4g69 info, which is the evo 9? Unless im mistaken. Also not sure what trim. So i figured id join in. I started modding around march and ive come quite a way since i bought my first cai. Ive got a few pictures but unfortunately im on exercise in louisiana until nov 20th. Oh, also ive been in the army for the past (almost) 4 years. Im almost always function over form when it comes to my car, with the exception of HID's and upgrading to the rockford fosgate sound system (couldnt resist, got the whole swap for $200 shipped and wired it together for about $5)

Sadly i wont be able to post pictures until around the 25th. I return to georgia on the 20th and im installing led halos and possibly black housing in my headlights. So it may be a few days until i have a final product, someone is teaching me how to do it and i like to do things right the first time around.

Im a 25B, which is an information systems specialist. Right now my main job is managing servers but my section also provides assistance with routers and switches, as well as wireless bridges and satellites. We do some support of end level systems but try to avoid it as the section thats supposed to do it uses our section as a crutch.

Edit: Oops didnt realize this was a european board. I'm from the US. Born and raised in New Jersey, joined the army at 18, and traveled around since i joined. Ive spent time in south carolina, georgia, and south korea. Im due to leave the military in april 2014 but im 50/50 on whether to stay in or get out.

Haha youre damn right, you guys make great beer. And you also have rpw, one of the few companies that supports the 4g eclipse. I wish shipping wasnt such a killer. Id love to get some of those thermoresistant intake manifold and throttlebody spacers, i have a 3.8L throttlebody spacer but it created a vaccum leak that i cant fix for the life of me.

Is it true that your military has a direct hire from US military and work for citizenship program in your military? Ive heard about it but i was told it was only for certain jobs. I'd love to spend a few years in the australian military, i met a few of your guys for training once.

Those insulating gaskets are just phenolic board. You can custom make them. I'm not sure where to get the board, but it's like the stuff inside electrical control boxes, so I reckon you would be able to source it.

Yeah i was looking at it and all it looked like to me was really dense plastic. But i'll look into it. Savannah, GA is a huge manufacturing/port town so im sure somebody makes it.
By the way, heres a list of what ive done to my car.
Installed: DC Sports CAI, Thermoresistant Throttlebody Spacer, 4g eclipse Gt throttlebody 65mm (the Gs is only 60mm) , ThrottleBody coolant bypass, Tenzo R Lowering Springs, Sickspeed Oil Catch Can, RF Head Unit, RF Speakers
On hand, but not installed: Aem fuel/ignition controller w/ GS Harness, RF amp, Redline Tuning hood struts, Clean headlights with 8k 35w ddm Hid bulbs, Aem wideband o2 sensor(just came in yesterday, very excited)
Next project: Magnaflow/Greddy 2.5in Header Back Exhaust and gutting the precats out of my exhaust manifold.

Edit: rf is rockford fosgate. Its the premium sound system for the eclipse. Its loud enough to enjoy, but quiet enough that you dont piss off your neighbors when you drive past.
