Group Buy: Mitsubishi weighted leather gear knobs - CLOSED

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

No probs I'll look into it. Ive been hit with heaps of PM's from guys who bought one and are extremely happy with them. Some are requesting another for keeps sake or for another vehicle. I cant guarantee there will be numbers to make another order but we'll give it a go. I'll find out the viability of a "D" order this week.

Shipment C has been posted from the US today. Should expect it late this week :)
Those in Shipment C who havent paid yet, deadline is 7.30pm Thursday 12th May or you forfeit your order to the waiting list in Shipment D.
Cheers, Rob :)

To make the numbers then, put me down for 2 more in "shipment D". When I first got the knob I thought it would squash the rubber boot in the vr4 because the vr4 takes the Evo III type leather knob ( shorter gear knob ) but it doesn't just sits higher. It's awesome thanks for organization on this group buy, very impressive.

Hahaha wow.
I only needed one but I bought two just because everyone is talking them up lol!
My last gearknob had an LED illuminated gearshift pattern...I'm expecting one better from this one haha jk :p
Yeah thanks heaps Rob for making it so easy for us. :)

LOL at all these knob jokes! they're not even funny  !

EDIT: Ahhhh deano! did you change my thingy to 'KnobTuner'? HAHAHAHA

Just fitted mine. It's so heavy I'm surprised it stands up straight. Ha ha ha

But it feels so nice when shifting

Damn Dane, you should have said something last week if it didnt arrive within a few working days after I sent it. Aust Post definitely shows the package as being delivered at 8:58am on 4th May, 8 days ago.
You sure your Mrs hasnt received it and hasnt told you about it, or that you havent got a mail pinching neighbour?
Maybe they can get onto the Posty who delivered it to you to confirm what he did with it. If he didnt deliver it to your door or if it didnt fit in your mailbox, they usually leave a card in your letterbox to say that the item can be picked up from your local Post Office. Perhaps the card was mistaking thrown out with your junk mail? It's probably still sitting at your local PO awaiting pickup. Get onto your local PO and/or Townsville DC quick smart to follow up on it :)

UPDATE

SHIPMENT C: OK boys, shipment C was received this morning and will be posted out to members either today or tomorrow.
Still taking names for shipment D.

SUMMARY: So far both shipments A & B have gone through without a hassle except for Dane (3zercrowd). He moved house and requested the post office to redirect his mail to his new address. However it has been either lost by the Posties or is mid-way being returned to sender (me). Tracking shows it was delivered to his old address however he had redirection services in place so it shouldnt have happened? (bloody QLD'ers  ) Its a bit of a mystery but crossing fingers for a Return to Sender so I can forward the package to his new address :)

POSTAGE FEES: The instance above has caused me to reflect on the traceability of the orders being sent within Australia. There probably is no real need for paying Express Post with tracking, when Regular Parcel Post with tracking, automatic insurance up to $100 and a signature on delivery only costs $2 more than Express Postage with tracking only. The only downside is that it could take up to 5 Working Days to get to its destination which isnt too much of a problem. Therefore from Shipment D onwards, the price for postage will go up just an extra $2 for peace of mind, traceability, insurance and signature on delivery. :)

Hey rob
The supplier u are dealing with. Has he got other items that may be of use as a group buy. The gear knob was really good quality and wouldn't mind getting other items from him :) think u can get a list of different things he has
