I bought an anti lift / caster kit from Whiteline 12 months ago not knowing E3 was different to GSR. (having said that, Whiteline list the part as being OK for a CE9A!)

SO, brand new in packet including white grease, only opened long enough to get under it and see I was a dickhead.

As seen here: HERE

One of the best mods, I did it to my GSR years ago, also the 3 with the Super Pro kit.. Keeps it nice and flat on launch..

~ $70 + postage

Perth.

Hey buddy,

It's way past beer o clock for me so I'm a little confused as to what this fits. So- if it fits an evo 3 I'll take it. If not, I'll tootle off to bed.

Cheers Dean

Are your whiteline antilift caster bushes yellow Square/Rectangular urethane blocks? If so that is completely incorrect for a GSR/EVO 1 as well. I ran into this problem and was explained to me by Pedders that the part was incorrectly shown. GSR + EVO 1/2/3 run metal bracket & casing around the bush - Front control arm rear bushes (caster). I cannot get a refund as I have had these bushes for about 2 years but never got around to even fitting them doh. Not to mention I forgot where the receipts are etc. If you look at the website and compare GSR with EVO III it shows exactly the same bushes (correct ones this time). http://www.whiteline.com.au/Plus/search.php

I fitted the same square urethane blocks to my 92 GSR a loooong time ago, (about 11 years ago?) I remember they needed no pushing into any bushings so not sure why you have them as different?
I went to Pedders once, he was going to set my Evo 3 suspension up up just like his RX7 race car - coz they were the same (ie both track cars) ..

My memory is shite, but I don't think it's that bad.... It fitted up into the recess in the chassis (even has the nipple to locate it), I smothered the whole thing in white grease, took bugger all time to do.

Just like this:

moi

the square block is correct for gsr/evo 1 as pictured above. There listing is 100% incorrect if it says gsr-evo 3 are the same

but evo 2/6 do run the same sleved bush

hmm I wonder what happened to mine then, mine has the sleeved bush and so I was not able to use the yellow whiteline bush kit as pictured. somehow evo 2 sleeved bushes got fitted to mine? I can only go off information given by pedders/whiteline.

What we are saying is, as per my original post - this is an anti-lift kit for a GSR / EVO 1 for sale.

If you wish to discuss the intricacies of the Whiteline product catalogue and what part numbers reference what bushes and how they all work then start a thread, in the tech section!
