GSR possible fuel pump issue

Is the cas from a later model 4g93t the same as cd5a shape? Or is the cas from an na 4g93 the same?

4g63 and 4g93 cas are the same even though asa lists different part numbers. 4g93 DOHC n/a will also fit sohc is no good as they use a distributor setup

I think that you just got a dud 2nd one. High resistance on plugs and leads will make a coil work harder and maybe short internally. And I can see the tr unit may be able to burn a coil out, but not sure that a cas can do it. And if it could, it could surely burn either one, not the same one twice....my2c

The coils tested fine so I don't think it's them

Is it definately getting fuel up there? thinking maybe ya fuel filter might be blocked, doubtful but hey
Some things to try bro,

plugs, check cond. and gap

leads, just use a generic one and try swapping them out 1 by 1, that way if it is missing on 1 cylinder you can determine which one it is at the same time

Lastly maybe swap a coil out 1 at a time, also just go flog a tr unit off a magna at the wreckers to try, hopefully ya dont get a dud

its 2 and 3 that arent firing

2 and 3 arent getting any spark. yet an auto sparky said theres nothing wrong with the coil that they run off or the other one.

Bzzzz. 2-3 are off the same coil. Pull apart the coil bracket and swap the coils around. Then check where the miss is. If it is missing at 2-3 still, its your igniter, or the ecu, or the wires between. If its missing on 1-4, its you coil.
