Which one fits our cars?

edit:
i'm now being told by many people walbros are shit, and 1/10 fail

anyone using the bosch 040?

GSS342 will fit, it has the electrical socket that matches the VR4 plug.
You have to cut off the flare on the end of the stock fuel pipe, and use a 100mm long piece of fuel hose and a couple of hose clamps to connect the Walbro to the pipe.
Because the GSS342 provides a lot more flow, it over runs the stock fuel pressure regulator especially at low revs. To correct this you need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

BE CAREFUL of the fake FPR's and fuel pumps.

I have a genuine SARD FPR if you want it. pm me if you do.

I did some research on this and the sard fpr is the one I bought

the malpassi didnt go back to stock pressure

I havnt seen anyone have probs with the walbro and plugs straight in

am i right in thinking walbro are internal, bosch are external?

And by internal what do they mean?
Do you have to drop the fuel tank to put it in and get the old one out?

Cheers

what? no

lol

you can get internal and external ones

for example, the bosch 040 is internal, the 044 is external

GSS342 is a direct replacement for a CC lancer GLXi - no cutting etc. just plug it in... Have to take the damn fuel tank out though as there is no inspection port... MISSION... LOL

it does run a bit rich yeah - 10:1 at top of third @ 10psi... Wait for my new exhaust on the w/end and we'll see how 15psi goes...
