Hey guys I just caught up with the whole no more EVOCrew thing so I'm here now didn't really post much on EVECrew but anyways.

I've got a black 97 N23W manual, stock as it comes at the moment except for the 19" rims. Looking to lower it get some better tint and bang a 3" exhaust on there. Maybe run a bigger turbo + aftermarket tuning device a little later on and get a new steering wheel the stock one is Uggggggly!

Welcome to the club dude.....

If you have an air bag, then I suggest trying to find a steering wheel off a Legnum- some of them have Nardi steering wheels that look like this:

As for bigger turbo- there's no need really.... The turbo on them can produce 220+ kw at the treads..... (unless you want more?)

I'd look at getting the fuel system sorted with a walbro pump- 3" exhaust and intake, then get the tuning side of things done- more boost and lean it out abit.....

check this out:

Hey lads thanks for the welcome

tborvr - I'm in Auchenflower where abouts are you? Yeah we should catch up sometime on a cruise or something.

CLuTZ - I was just thinking of maybe later on putting on an EVO3 turbo nothing too fancy but who knows. I've got an exhaust priced full custom dump back for $1150. Need to look into the suspension and maybe some offset bushes to straighten the wheel and the tint is easy.

My rvr is doing some weird shit at the moment when you get up it, it stutters a little bit I'm thinking it might be the plugs as I had a very similar problem with my JZX90 where the plugs were old and when it came on boost it was blowing the spark out. Anyone else experienced this with theirs?

hey I'm in Cannon Hill and my rvr is off the road atm.:(

As Clutz has said there is no need for a bigger turbo as your rvr has already got a TDO5 big 16g on it.

Yeah what tborvr said- if you have a Hyper Sports Gear (the RVR in your avatar?) then you already have a turbo that is actually rated slightly higher than an EVO 3 turbo......

They really come alive over 20psi...!

As for the hesitation- some fresh plugs should do the trick. If that fails, try getting some new leads on there....

Come alive over 20psi holyshit haha what psi are you running?

Spewing about your car being off the road tborvr :(

I think they should be done up to 90-100Nm and that shouldn't happen any more.
I've never used the ring and it still didn't burn except the one between exhaust housing and dump.

That to me look like the 3 layer mild steel after market ones, i have on on my car and they are SHIT.mine is being pushed out the side with the heat and pressure an it hasn't seen decent boost yet. Coming off soon.

Get a genuine stainless steel mitsi one with the rolled lip in the middle to seal better.
If the evo 1-3 item fit you can get one form Meek automotive they sell them.
