Just after some thoughts from some of you guys that have been down this road before
I'm getting a new ecu currently have a motec m4 fitted in the factory ecu case and have bypassed wiring for the m&w ignition setup directly to the ecu.
Just want opinions on would I be better off wiring in a new loom with the new ecu or getting a patch loom and cutting into it where I need too?

Yeh still factory loom. Yeh was thinking be easier to run the patch and bypass where I need too for ignition and what not. But then again the wiring in the car is old and be good to run new wiring but that might be more work then its worth

I had a mate re wire mine didn't take him that long really an all he had was a random loom from another car an the plug for the computer, looks heaps tidier cos we hid it all as we went.
You should be able to get a flying loom from haltec as well which will save a heap of time

We spent a bit of time on it to keep it as tidy as possible an outta sight, was well worth it tho
