So i was coming after a drive were i did give it a hit or 2 then got stuck in some traffic and had the temp gauge rise to over hot... pulled up and checked why, to find the thermo fan plug had come undone and cooked the engine. Running a 4G63/64 engine set up
So the outcome from that is the oil is milky, smells like fuel(E85) and the radiator is pumping water out like a volcano. Havent done a leak down test yet.
But seeing if I can get a few ideas of what i'm up for in a few weeks when i go on holidays and get time to fix the car...

What you guys think?

Borrow a bore scope and have a look.. Either way, head has to come off to determine.

I had the same thing while on the dyno. I thought head gasket but it was the bore. Same symptoms.

Good luck buddy.

There is speak about 64 blocks bores having less material due to being already 60 thou over from the 63 as standard.

You have a 63 block to build?

yeah i have a spare 63 block. it isn't able to boost as quick as the motor i have now. but i'm will to comprimise
got Wiseco pistons and Eagle rods. Clevite bearings... it made 350kw with a standard head
