lol dude no offence they are shit. I put them in my ecsort, with the cheap and many of the ebay globes the bluer (+Kelvin)you go as a rule the less light (lumins) you throw out, they were worse then the normal style ones i had in there.
A good example of this is a street light, compare yellowish old style ones they throw out a longer beam, that the more white ones.
I went narva in the vr4 from repco, I went the blue power ones, they were the best mix of blue and bright i could find. they are 3750K and 2000 lumins, the next up in blue are the 4000K and they drop to 1600 lumins.
After 4000k in the narva and panasonic range, they say not legal for rd use, also claibre ones are smack on 4000k. So i "assumed" 4000k is the cut off.
If it doeant say on the box like some of th panasonic does, look at globe might say not legal, or the legal ones have another box symbol (other than H1, H4 ect) with E1 in it (europe standard 1) and they bullshit ones have E13. (like some blue ebay globes) its some made up rubbish apparently. Not that it matters as long as it aint blue anough for the rozzers to pick you.
I had from what i can gather low end panasonic ones in the vr4 and the new narva blue power ones are way better, are more white than blue so go the 4000K if you want the blue tinge, and more blue if your after more, but you have less light even if its meant to be "more like day light"
I just want my car to be legal and not catch the cops eye as ii lik to not be botheres unlike some genuin nissan lovers cop, all the stupid ricers do it for us.
And watch ou som of the auto pro's are selling 20buck ebay globes for 35.
Otherwise check out panasonic, they are also meant to be the shiz. I think narva might be a bit of a copy (or other way around as both their ranges emm very matched) but still pricey.
And HID rocks but gotta be careful as ive heard for cheap units overheating, and another things for the police to pin you for. Plus proper HID factory lenses are focussed differnt to normal lenses.
You do get what you pay for

H4 60/55, then you look at upgrading wiring and fuses and the like, if you get some xenon blue ones (like the calibre brand at supercheap auto) you will get a good light throw that is still legal and is alot brighter than halogen globes
